Big Leaf Maple Handmade Ballpoint Pen Chrome/Gold

This handmade Big Leaf Maple ballpoint pen has fantastic looking grain and a rich gray-brown color to the wood.  Big Leaf Maple has dark colors in the wood combined with a swirling grain which give this pen its character.   A nice combination that is sure to please for years to come.  Notice the fancy details in the metal work combined with the graduating finish colors from top to bottom.

It feels great in your hand and is appropriate for anyone.  The ballpoint pen has been made by hand turning a blank of wood and finishing it to a smooth polish.  All external components are finished with a Chrome with Gold color highlights finish. The ballpoint pen extends with a turn of the wrist and writes smoothly and easily.

The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day.

The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each piece of wood and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) of sandpaper to create a very smooth surface. Multiple coats of finish are hand applied, sanded and then polished.  Finally, a light wax is applied applied to protect the finish.  Great care is taken to make the pen really shine.

Comes with your choice of ink color (blue / black) and a velvet pen sleeve. Replacement ink cartridges can easily be found in our Parker Style Ballpoint Pen Refill section or at most drugstores and office supply stores. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the size of the pen inside its box.

The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.
