Handmade Rollerball Boxelder Burl Rhodium/Gold

Stunning & Dramatic!  Two words that describe the look of this Boxleder Burl Rollerball pen!  This Blonde Boxelder Burl even has a touch of 'flame' on the back side of the cap, to give it a dramatic effect.  The grain swirls and has such character that it is simply breathtaking!  Very eye-catching!  A very nice looking rollerball pen which is sure to impress everyone around.  It is finished in a Rhodium colored finish with outstanding Gold accents. Check out the detail in the accents.  This is one of our largest pens, perfect for individuals with larger hands, or someone that wants to make a bold statement signing papers.  

This rollerball pen has been handcrafted by turning a blank of wood and finishing it to a mirror polish.  All external components are finished with a Rhodium finish with Gold accents.  The finish will provide durable service. This is a rollerball pen (not ballpoint) pen which has a separate cap to cover the pen.  The cap does not post (that is, it cannot be screwed onto the back / bottom of the pen).   It writes very smoothly and easily, and takes a standard ink refill cartridge to make it easy to refill.  (This pen can be converted to a fountain pen, if desired.  Just send me an e-mail if you are interested in the fountain pen.)

The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day.

The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each piece of wood and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) of sandpaper to create a very smooth surface.  The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.  It is finished with a hand application on a preservation wax.

The pen comes with your choice of ink color and a drawstring pen pouch. Replacement ink can easily be found at most office supply stores or at Rollerball Pen Refills section. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the approximate size of the pen.

The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.
