Handmade Ballpoint Pen Amboyna Burl Stainless Steel Finish

Spectacular example of the depth and color of Amboyna Burl!  Amboyna has a great red color with swirling grain and color.  What a classic look.  This pen finish is made from 100% Stainless Steel - made here in the U.S.A.  Plus, the stunning figure in this Amboyna Burl!  This classy handcrafted rolledball pen is made from Amboyna, a very special wood.  It is finished in an all Stainless Steel finish.    It is really a nice pen.  It feels great to hold and has a fantastic weight.   It is a double twist mechanism.

This ballpoint pen has been handcrafted by turning a blank of wood and finishing it to a mirror polish.  All external components are finished with a Stainless Steel finish. The finish will provide years of durable and dependable service.   It writes very smoothly and easily, and takes a Parker refill, making it easy to refill. 

The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day.

The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each piece of wood and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) of sandpaper to create a very smooth surface.  The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.  It is finished with a hand application on a preservation wax.

The pen comes with your choice of ink and a velvet drawstring pen pouch. Replacement ink can easily be found at most office supply stores or on our site here at Mazurka Pens. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the approximate size of the pen.

The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.
