At Mazurka Pens, we are committed to your total satisfaction. That's why we created the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee; it helps take the stress out of choosing the right handmade pen. Order any handmade pen and if you don't like it, we'll exchange it for another one or refund 100% of the price of the pen. Just return the pen to us - there are no restocking fees. 

At Mazurka Pens we believe in our products.  Each pen is made by hand, and may have minor imperfections, but we stand behind our work and want you to feel comfortable with your purchase.  If you are unsatisfied with one of our handmade pens, contact us and we will find a way to make it right.

 

 

Shipping and Handling - United States

Most products ship within 24 hours after placing your order, which typically means your order ships out on the next business day with your selected shipping preference.   We do our own order fulfillment and do our best to ship quickly, but some of us are in school!   Please keep that in mind when ordering.  If we have questions about your order, we will contact you via email, so please make sure to use an email account that you check regularly to prevent shipping delays.  If we have a question, your shipment may be delayed until that question is answered.

When you place an order, you will have two shipping options, USPS (United States Post Office) and FedEx.  Most of our packages are mailed via USPS mail and arrive within 3 - 4 business days.  Packages under $50 typically ship USPS First Class mail.  All pens ship via USPS Priority Mail.  If you need the products quicker, select FedEx and you will have an option for FedEx Home Delivery (home addresses ONLY) and for FedEx 2nd day shipping. Remember that FedEx does not count Saturday, Sunday or Holidays as shipping days. If you are having a product shipped via FedEx Second Day delivery, please understand that your package may not ship until the next business day and plan accordingly.

We can only control when we put the package in the mail.  We have no control over UPS, USPS or FedEx.  Please keep that in mind when ordering if you have a critical date.

Please note:  We are unable to tell the post office where or how to leave a package at your residence.  We cannot pass on special delivery instructions to the drivers on where to leave packages, so please make sure that you ship to an appropriate, secure mailing address.  

If you need it even quicker, please contact us (prior to ordering) and we will work with you to see if we can arrange expedited shipping.  We charge a small handling fee for each order to cover packaging costs to ensure your pen arrives well protected. 

Small orders, such as ink, converters, nibs, etc. ship via USPS First Class mail.  USPS First Class mail can take a week or more for delivery.  We will have it in the mail quickly, but cannot control the delivery time of the USPS.  Please keep that in mind, as once we have mailed it, we are at the mercy of the USPS.  First class mail allows us to keep shipping costs reasonable.

Items that are eligible for Free Shipping will ship First Class mail only.  If an item that is eligible for Free Shipping is combined with items that are not eligible for free shipping, the order will be charged the shipping cost based upon the weight of the items that are not eligible for Free Shipping.  Free Shipping is only available to destinations in the United States.

Larger orders may ship with signature confirmation when the order exceeds $250.  Orders placed in the Winter months may also ship with signature confirmation to avoid packages being left in freezing temperatures.

All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. You are responsible for the cost of return postage.

Please note that effective January 22nd, 2017 the USPS has raised its postage rates again.  We strive to keep shipping costs as low as possible, but we have had to make adjustments to shipping costs to accommodate carrier increases.  These increases have been continuing to increase each of the last 3 years.

We do our part to help keep waste to a minimum.  We use products that have recycled materials for shipping and work hard to re-use packing material to keep landfill waste to a minimum.

FedEx: Please note that FedEx does not consider Saturday or Sunday as shipping days in their 2 Day shipping calculations.

 

2017 Holiday Shipping Schedule

As the holiday approaches, please keep in mind the following recommended dates to ensure that any package you purchase will arrive in time for Christmas 2017.  These are the last dates to place an order with Mazurka Pens for Christmas 2017.  Orders must be received by noon Central Time on the dates below.  Please order early, as we are not responsible for late arrivals due to carrier delays or weather - once we give the carrier the package, it is up to them.  We will close at noon on the 21st of December.

  • USPS First Class Mail - Friday, December 15th, 2017 
  • USPS Priority Mail - Tuesday, December 19th, 2017
  • FedEx Second Day Mail - Thursday, December 20th, 2017 (will arrive on 22nd)

 Remember, USPS doesn't provide any guaranteed delivery dates.  These are guidelines.

 

Shipping and Handling - International

Due to a number of factors beyond our control, we are no longer offering shipping internationally.  The cost of shipping has increased substantially making many purchases cost prohibitive.  Cost of package insurance and tracking numbers cost options have increased and we only ship packages with tracking numbers.  Additional import and export customs paperwork and country restrictions have made shipping outside the US too costly.

Should we find a better option in the future, we hope to be able to return to offering shipping to international customers.

 

Payment

We accept credit cards made through PayPal.  You do not have to have a PayPal account you may use a credit card, just select the option to use a credit card when checking out with PayPal.  If you use a different e-mail when registering on Mazurka pen from the e-mail provided to PayPal, we may contact you prior to shipment to validate the transaction.  We apologize, but we can only accept orders online, not over the phone.

We take our customer's security seriously.  If we see a suspicious purchase, we may attempt to contact you.  If we are unable to contact you via e-mail with the information you provided, we may cancel your order and refund your purchase.  Please check the e-mail account you supplied during checkout.  If we do not receive a reply, we may cancel the order and refund the purchase.  We apologize, but want to protect you from fraudulent activity.

All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. You are responsible for the cost of return postage. 

 

Returns Policy

If you should need to return a product, please return all original packaging and documentation, with a copy of your invoice/purchase receipt or packing list, which was included in the original shipment. Engraved products cannot be returned or exchanged under any situation.  All returns must be made within 30 days.  No refunds can be given on any merchandise after 60 days.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper.  All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.  Original shipping charges are non-refundable. You are responsible for the cost of return postage. If you need to return an item, login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Product that contain ink, hold or deliver ink must not be used prior to returning.  This includes ink bottles, ink converters, nibs and other similar products.  Lot codes on returned ink will be checked against the records of lots shipped.
