Buckeye Burl Handcrafted Ballpoint Pen with Chrome and Gold

This handmade blonde Buckeye Burl has spectacular grain and a rich color to the wood.  Buckeye burl varies from blonde to deep purple / green colors.  This is a great example of a blonde Buckeye Burl which is set against a Chrome finish wiith Gold accents and highlights.  A nice combination that is sure to please for years to come.   It feels great in the hand and is appropriate for larger hands, or people who just want to make a statement.  The pen has been made by hand turning a blank of wood and finishing it to a smooth polish.  All external components are finished with a Chrome and Gold finish providing durable and dependable service. The ballpoint pen extends with a turn of the wrist in either direction and writes smoothly and easily.

The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day.

The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each piece of wood and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) of sandpaper to create a very smooth surface. Multiple coats of finish are hand applied, sanded and then polished.  Finally, a light wax is applied applied to protect the finish.  Great care is taken to make the pen really shine.

Comes with ink and a pen sleeve. Replacement ink cartridges can easily be found at most drugstores and office supply stores. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the size of the pen inside its box.

The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.
