Handmade Metal Copper Mokume Stainless Steel Ballpoint

Beautiful Copper Mokume Stainless Steel Pen!  This is a very special metal composite pen where the dramatic effects of this Black Lava and Copper Metal (M3) standout.  The metal shimmer in this Ballpoint Pen with Stainless Steel finish is beautiful.  It is simply a breathtaking pen!  The copper looks fantastic against the black lava swirls.   Very eye-catching and unique!  A very nice looking ballpoint pen which is sure to impress everyone around.  It is finished in Stainless Steel, made in the USA.  It feels great to hold and has a good weight balance.   

This pen is made from a material called M3.  Metals are atomized down to the molecular level and then recombined resins and binders to form a new composite material which is called M3.  The result is a new metal material that can be turned but which retains the the look of the original metals.  The results is a pen that has the same look as metal.  Since it is metal, it can develop a patina over time, but each of these pens is sealed with a finish to prevent changes in color. 

This ballpoint pen has been handcrafted by turning a blank of Copper Mokume Metal (M3) and finishing it to a mirror polish.  All external components are finished with Stainless Steel.  The applied finish will provide durable and dependable service. This is a ballpoint pen pen.  It writes very smoothly and easily, and takes a standard Parker Style Ink cartridge to make it easy to refill.  

The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day.

The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each piece and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) of sandpaper to create a very smooth surface.  The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.  It is finished with a hand application on a preservation wax.

The pen comes with your choice of ink color (Black / Blue) and a velvet drawstring pen pouch.  Replacement ink can easily be found at most office supply stores or at Parker Style Ballpoint Pen Refills section. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the approximate size of the pen.

The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.
