Handcrafted Fountain Pen Bloodwood Chrome/Black

Great looking fountain pen made from Bloodwood with great grain with black lines that accent the grain.  Bloodwood has a rich, deep red-brown color that is quite unique looking.  It is finished in Chrome and trimmed out with Black accents for a great look!   It is really a nice looking pen.  It feels great to hold and has a fantastic weight.  It is a little smaller and thinner than some of the other fountain pens.  

This fountain pen has been handcrafted by turning a blank of Bloodwood and finishing it to a mirror polish.  All external components are finished with a durable Chrome finish with Black accents.  This is a fountain pen (not ballpoint) pen which has a separate cap to cover the pen.  The cap does post (that is, it does screw onto the back of the pen).  It writes very smoothly and easily, and takes univeral cartridges, making it easy to refill. (This pen can be converted to a rollerball pen, if desired.  Just send me an e-mail if you are interested in the rollerball pen.)

The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day.

The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each piece of and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) of sandpaper to create a very smooth surface.  The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.  It is finished with a hand application on a preservation wax.

The pen comes with ink cartridge, ink converter pump and a velvet pen pouch. Replacement ink can easily be purchased from us or found at most office supply stores. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the approximate size of the pen.

The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same materials and finish.
