Handmade Fountain Pen Amboyna Burl Rhodium/Black Titanium

Amboyna Burl has a fantastic red-brown color and has striking grain.  This is a fantastic example of what this wood looks like.  It is a stunning pen and is finished with Rhodium / Black Titanium.  The detail in the pen is very nice and shows off the classic look of this fountain pen.  This is a beautiful piece of Amboyna Burl with amazing red-brown colors mixed with a fantastic style.  Just beautiful. It is sure to please anyone who receives the pen.  It is a medium size pen and it feels great in the hand and is appropriate for anyone who want to make a bold statement.  This fountain pen has been handcrafted by turning a blank of Amboyna Burl and finishing it to a mirror polish.   This is a fountain pen which has a separate cap to cover the pen.  It writes very smoothly and easily, and takes standard universal cartridges to make it easy to refill, or you can use an ink converter (included).  It you want a rollerball pen, it can be converted, please contact us and we can convert it to a rollerball pen.  The nib is a medium point and is made in Germany. It is an Iridium Point, for a smooth writing experience.  The pen does NOT post.

The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day.

The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each piece of wood and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits of sandpaper (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) to create a very smooth surface. Multiple coats of finish are applied to protect the wood for years of hard use. The surface is then polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.  Lastly, applying a fine wax to help minimize fingerprints completes the pen.

Comes with an ink converter pump, sample ink cartridges and a velvet drawstring pen sleeve. Replacement ink refills can easily be found at most drugstores and office supply stores. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the size of the pen inside its box.

The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.
