Fountain pen enthusiasts will want a high-quality ink converter pump to go with their handmade fountain pen.  Schmidt's piston style converters are made for fountain pen inks and are a great upgrade to the standard unit shipped with your pen.  You can use this upgraded piston converter as a replacement or as your preferred option to cartridges. This is a Schmidt brand converter with gold colored fittings and has the the Schmidt name on the side of the converter and is designed for more use than other converters.  This is a international (sometimes called universal) converter compatible with many pens sold internationally.

These converters fit most style fountain pens that accept international converters (also referred to as universal converters), including many (but not all) fountain pens from ACME, Ancora, Bexley, Bossert & Erhard, Caran-dache, Colibri, Conklin, Conway Stewart, David Oscarson, Dani-Trio, Delta, Ducati, Dupont, Faber-Castell, Krone, Laban, Lalex, Lepine, Libelle, Mabie Todd, Marlen, Montegrappa, Omas, Stipula, Taccia and Visconti.   Please check to make sure your pen is compatible, as not all pens accept the same size converter pumps.  Some manufacturers make different models of their pens, which can use different converters.  These are compatible with the Schmidt K5.
